Oops! I forgot to write my weekly journal

Seeing Jimao's weekly journal reminded me that I needed to write my own...

Then I checked the date. Wait, it's Wednesday? I thought it was Tuesday... WTF.

My modeling work this week had me constantly bouncing back and forth between L2D and CSP.

I had so many part separation and overpaint files that they ballooned to several gigs. XD

On top of that, L2D was lagging like crazy, which was incredibly frustrating to deal with. But seeing the character finally move makes it all worth it—the sense of accomplishment is unreal.

Sometimes I catch myself thinking: Where am I? What am I doing? I'm actually doing modeling work? Did I really make this? lol

Everything I create honestly looks like someone else made it.

Sometimes I don't even know how I managed to finish it, haha.

I truly never thought I'd be here one day, doing such high-precision modeling work.

Or rather, I never expected a company to notice my work and bring me on full-time (it honestly still feels like a dream XD).

And my boss is truly the most unique boss I've ever had (and I mean that as a huge compliment).

Always offering encouragement, help, and guidance.

Even when things go sideways, there's no scolding or shifting the blame. Instead, we figure out how to fix it together, and they never forget to offer praise.

Because I'm so grateful for their trust in me, it makes me want to nail everything I do. After all, I can't let my boss down!!!

Before joining the company, I was basically a zombie lol, just drifting aimlessly through life.

Since joining, my friends keep telling me how much more cheerful and optimistic I've become.

I didn't even notice it myself :0 Looking back, it really feels like I've started a second life lol.
