Thoughts on Drawing My Own Live2D Avatar

I draw and rig Live2D avatars all the time, but I'd never actually tried drawing and building one for myself until now — finally finished the art and started building it, and honestly it hit me harder than I expected.
While drawing my own avatar, it genuinely felt like there were two versions of me arguing in my ear at once — the rigger and the illustrator. While designing the outfit, I'd keep adding little details here and there, and then the rigger side of me would pop up going "that's going to mean physics for way too many ribbons, cut it, cut it." Then right after cutting it, the illustrator side of me would show up going "now it doesn't have enough detail, add more, add more" — and it just spirals into an endless loop.
Same thing happens with asymmetrical elements — the rigger in me goes "this is going to be such a pain, just make both sides symmetrical," and the illustrator in me goes "but that won't look as good," and it's honestly so frustrating.
That said, I can really feel how much room I still have to grow, and I'll keep pushing toward being more of a polygon-warrior type artist going forward, even though that wasn't really the plan when I started XD
Sharing an artwork here I haven't posted anywhere else — a slightly more revealing version. Heard Twitch doesn't allow underboob though, so, absolutely dying over here trying to figure that out.
