<Mama's Garden Management Log> 6/6/2023

Recently went to a private theater screening for Shin Kamen Rider and somehow couldn't find the Vieshow Cinemas in Xinyi — ran all the way up to the 6th floor of ATT 4 FUN before realizing I was in the wrong building entirely!! Ran back and forth in pouring rain before I finally found it... Guess this country queen just isn't cut out for navigating the big city...

Compared to Shin Godzilla and Shin Ultraman, Hideaki Anno's Shin Kamen Rider felt like a genuinely fresh take The straightforward story and fights seem to echo the purity of the characters themselves. There were plenty of nitpicks to be had, but overall it was pretty solid! I'll probably go for a second watch sometime to catch the details I missed~

I'd been planning to do a stream just to rant about the movie, but I completely forgot while wrestling with my weekly schedule T_T Guess I'll have to pencil it in for next week!
