If you've been a Wacom tablet user for any length of time,

I'm sure you know the pain of nibs wearing down way too fast.

I've spent years just buying pack after pack of replacement nibs,

and honestly, Wacom doesn't make it easy —

the newer the tablet and pen, the faster the nibs seem to wear out

(maybe it's just me, but it sure feels that way).

I'd basically given up and accepted it as a fact of life,

until I stumbled across this on Amazon Japan a while back:

"Titanium alloy nibs"

Sounds pretty hardcore just from the name, right?

They're a bit pricey —

around 3,000 yen for two —

but they claim to have basically zero wear...!

If that's actually true, it'd be worth every yen, I figured,

so I decided to give them a shot.

After about three days of actually using them,

I genuinely cannot feel any wear at all!

Normally, with a fresh standard nib,

it'd already be worn down to a sharp point after about three days.

This one is still perfectly round and smooth,

gliding across the tablet beautifully!

So if you're an artist working on a Wacom tablet

and nib wear has been driving you crazy too,

I highly, highly recommend these!
