Monthly Log (Wait, I Mean Weekly Log)

Soda-sensei: Don't forget to write your weekly log~

Me: Mhm mhm (maybe if I write one a month nobody will notice I've been slacking)

Okay not really — honestly every time I think "today's the day I write my weekly log" and then work gets busy and I forget lol

Things finally slowed down for a bit so I'm rushing to write this now, otherwise it really would turn into a monthly log XD

So here's something that happened a few days ago. I finished a model, feeling super confident, and brought it to sensei to check.

Soda-sensei: This part's no good. Fix it.

Me: Mhm, okay.

Next day, fixed it, brought it back to show sensei again.

Soda-sensei: That part over there needs fixing too.

Me: Oh, okay, got it.

Third day, fixed that too.

Soda-sensei: This part still needs work.

Me: Can we please just call it good enough!

Soda-sensei: How could you say that! We're professional riggers... blah blah blah... it absolutely has to... blah blah blah... so that means... blah blah blah... what you did over there... blah blah blah blah... take it seriously! blah blah blah blah... this motion has to be there, no excuses!

...

So that night, born out of pure trial and error, a brand new file came into existence.

The next morning, utterly drained, I brought the file in: "Sensei... I finished it..."

Soda-sensei: Oh! This looks great now! By the way, why do you have such bad under-eye circles? Didn't sleep well last night?

Me: Nothing... happened... at all...

Soda-sensei really is strict XD lol
