[Animation Commission] Making the Opening Animation for 茸茸鼠

Huge thanks to 春魚 for commissioning us to make 茸茸鼠's opening animation!

For this one, the client wanted multiple expressions worked into the motion — and boy, did we rack our brains over it ><<<

Fitting several emotional shifts into the piece without letting the production timeline balloon was genuinely tricky QQ

Here's roughly how the animation breaks down step by step: 　　Sitting at the table enjoying afternoon tea (eyes on the tea) → eyes dart toward the camera → startled at being noticed by viewers → quickly finishes the snack and drink in hand to calm down → eyes sneak back to the tea, secretly grabs a cookie → back to the cake-and-drink pose, loop

For the emotional shifts: happily enjoying tea, face glowing with contentment → surprised at being spotted by viewers → flustered, calms down, then sneaks back to the tea to keep eating

The final version ended up with a few small changes to the order of things, but overall it stuck pretty close to the original plan!!!

It's been a while since we got to animate such a gorgeous, detailed illustration~ We had so much fun making this one!
