[Live2D] Making a Spinning Magic Wand~
I finally wrapped my head around how clipping masks work after finishing a course recently! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
I decided to test it out by animating masks along the rings of the staff to create the illusion that it's spinning. ><
To give it a clean outline, I duplicated the layer, tinted it black, and used the mask to create a crisp dark border around the edges!!!
The only problem? I used way too many of them and triggered a Live2D warning for exceeding 60 clipping mask combinations. ( ´•̥̥̥ω•̥̥̥` )( ´•̥̥̥ω•̥̥̥` )
(I'll probably need to consolidate some of these masks in Photoshop beforehand next time.)
The next time I build something like this, I want to try using a single, seamless mask to reveal complex patterns. It would make the spinning animation look so much cooler!
