Live2D Course Term 3: Summer 2023 Registration is Open!
Registration for Term 3 of our Live2D course officially opens tonight! (Our theme color this time is green (*''▽''))
Just like before, Term 3 covers the complete end-to-end workflow for creating a VTuber model, but we're also adding dedicated coverage for the new 5.0 update. On top of that, I'll be sharing all the latest tricks and techniques I've picked up recently, holding nothing back from my students, as always!

Next up, our guest instructors: Since Zhe's animation workshop was such a huge hit in Term 2, we're bringing the exact same class back for this term! Also, because a lot of you asked for a deeper dive into perspective, I've invited my good friend Evan Lee to host a special workshop on the topic! (That's right, we have two guest instructors this time around!)

Finally, let's talk about the character art we'll be using in class. We've brought on three incredible illustrators for this term:
Animation model: Xiang Ji Dan Standard model: Zhou Zhenjiang (Chi Jiang) Optional model: Lin Hua Say HANa
Just like the previous two terms, the standard model art is a free gift for everyone who enrolls. Every student will get this fully separated, ready-to-rig illustration. As long as you follow along with the lessons, you'll graduate with a gorgeous, fully rigged model! You're completely free to use her for your own streams and content afterward (just keep in mind you might end up sharing a face with your classmates).
The optional model features an established character design, so the copyright and usage rights remain with the original artist (similar to Krenz in Term 1 and Shepi in Term 2). While you can't use this model for your own content, you can definitely showcase the rigged result in your personal portfolio with yourself credited as the rigger! If you're aiming to take on commissions and become a professional rigger, I highly recommend challenging yourself with this option. It's a fantastic way to market your skills!
