The Making of KSP: A Behind-the-Scenes Journey

It was a pitch-black, stormy night...
The faint glow of my computer monitor was the only light in the silent room.
Suddenly, a message from a mysterious person with a red-haired, baby-holding profile picture broke the silence.
Soda: Put your current project on hold. KSP is a go.
And just like that, I became the modeler for KSP! lol (What am I even writing XD)
Here's a quick roundup of the ridiculous things that happened during production:
I swung a roll of toilet paper around to simulate hair physics, and my family thought I'd lost my mind. XD
I showed my completely botched XYZ head rig to Rin, who blasted me and told me to get some sleep. I woke up the next morning and angrily redid the entire thing from scratch.
I spent so much time staring in the mirror, turning my head to study the angles, that my dad said he was just glad I was finally stretching my neck.
The file had so many layers that I had to buy more RAM—only to realize I bought the wrong type.
Water somehow got into my PC, scaring Soda and me half to death. We honestly thought the whole project was doomed.
Halfway through production, I was told the debut stream was only a week away. I was completely stunned.
I didn't want to miss a single second of the debut, so I was sprinting around the house to grab dinner and use the bathroom. My family said it was like a ghost zooming through the halls.
I gave my cat way too many aggressive snuggles while trying to figure out the feline animations, which made him super grumpy.
Thankfully, the debut was a massive success and everything went off without a hitch! XD
It was an absolute honor to work on the first VTuber model for our collaboration with Meridian Project. Our studio has a lot more incredible models in the pipeline, and I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to collaborate again. Wishing all the best to SodaArt and Meridian Project—here's to growing and thriving together!
