My AGA Expo Experience

I finally made it to the AGA Expo I've been dying to attend! ><
Unfortunately, a lot of the photos I took are a bit NSFW, so I can't post them here.
The venue was absolutely massive! The AC was blasting too—as someone from Kaohsiung, I felt like I was freezing to death.
Halfway through the event, I went over to help out at Kaka's booth. I honestly didn't do much—just sat there yelling things like, "Hey handsome, hey gorgeous, come check this out!"
Shiro, the main booth helper, told me, "Do you think you're selling produce at a farmers market or something?" I was dying laughing.
After that, Shiro taught me the right way to pitch and sell things. It really is an art form... they truly are a sales god.
I definitely learned a lot on this trip, picking up some serious wisdom from the master of sales.

I was originally supposed to help out at Baijin's booth, but they already had plenty of people over there. If I went over, I'd probably just be getting in the way, haha.

Another hilarious thing that happened was the whole "chive hot dog incident" with Xianjie Dashi.
(If you're curious, you can look it up on Xianjie Dashi's Facebook page.)
I was actually planning to buy one to eat before leaving, but then I saw Dashi grab one first.
With an indescribable look on their face, Dashi said, "This hot dog tastes like chives."
We completely cracked up. I was thinking about getting one if it was good, so a massive thanks to Dashi for taking a bullet for us!
Just as a side note, Xianjie Dashi is incredibly down-to-earth. They were just so easy to talk to!
Walking around AGA, I felt like bringing a few thousand bucks wouldn't even be enough. I wanted to buy literally everything I saw.
If I didn't actually need money to survive, I would have bought it all.
I also want to give a huge thanks to my friend who transferred their Day 2 VIP pass to me. It let me score the Nene mousepad drawn by Baijin! <3

And finally, finally, FINALLY, I got to grab dinner with Baijin, Kaka, and a bunch of other amazing artists!!!
By the time we ate that night, everyone was completely exhausted. Some people even fell asleep at the table!
I just wanted to tuck them in with a blanket. They really worked so hard.
It's such a bummer we didn't get a group photo.

After having a blast for three days, it's time to get my head back in the game. Starting today, it's back to working overtime and being a dedicated modeler.
